SDZ Global has been successful in applying for Prop 84 grant funding (Public Works) to establish a tertiary Wastewater Treatment Plant ("new WWTP") facility, located within the boundary of the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. The new WWTP will be located approximately 0.7 miles away from an existing similar facility ("existing WWTP"), also situated at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. The new WWTP will ultimately replace the existing WWTP.

SDZ Global is soliciting bids from qualified and capable bidders to complete the following packages of work:

Sewer Forced Main & Recycled Water Main (Contract 1 - Prop 84 WWTP Project)

Approximately 3,700 feet of 6" sewer force main, 3,700 feet of 4" recycled return line and 250 feet of gravity main, terminating adjacent to the new WWTP and existing WWTP sites (actual lengths to be measured by bidder using supplied drawings). The work generally includes excavation and backfill, procurement and installation of lift stations, pumps, electrical, controls, pipework and associated infrastructure.

2. Around 650 yards before the Main Entrance to the park on the left is a road marked Service & Deliveries. Please take the turning onto this road and follow the subsequent Service & Deliveries signs.
3. After around ¾ of a mile, you will arrive at back gate security. Please request Chris Brzezicki – Projects 1 and explain you are here for a job walk of the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
4. You will be directed to vendor parking. All vendors will be met at Vendor Parking and then transported down to the site.

Please note that the blank AIA-101 and AIA-201 agreements for review by bidders are under review. They will be issued as an addendum to this solicitation in due course.
